Caregiver Garden & Story Walk
The Caregiver Garden & Story Walk is designed to express the transitions in life and caregiving, incorporating the concepts of mind, body, and spirit wellness with a focus on the reciprocal relationship between self and nature.
Hope Grows is proud to announce the redirection of previous grant funds to support the continued development of our Caregiver Garden & Story Walk. We are honored to contribute to making Moon Township the first location to intentionally connect wellness and family caregiving through a dedicated garden space.
This evolving garden offers a place for reflection, healing, and connection through our Story of Caregiving initiative. The Story Walk will be a thoughtfully designed garden trail where participants encounter a series of story panels, consisting of a children’s story titled, Grace and the Pollinators: A Story of Caring and Letting Go.
The story will explore the reciprocal relationship between humans and the natural world. While cultivating presence and reflection through nature-inspired stories that encourage age-appropriate mental clarity and emotional processing, the spiritual connection, renewal, and hope acknowledge the sacred exchange of the transitions of life.

Healing & Restorative Properties
Visitors will be led through the garden on an immersive and interactive pathway, inviting caregivers and guests to engage with narratives and reflections centered on the interconnectedness of self and nature. The Story Walk will be a living, breathing testament to the power of storytelling, nature, and reciprocity. By intertwining the elements of mind, body, and spirit with the healing relationship between self and earth, it creates a sanctuary where caregivers can both give and receive nourishment for their whole being.
