About the Legacy Project: “Telling Our Story”
The Legacy Project: “Telling Our Story” is a program under The Gathering Table. The retreat honors the courage, love, and resilience of caregivers or those grieving a loss by preserving and sharing their journeys through written, visual, and creative expression. With sensitivity and respect, Hope Grows may record and curate participants’ stories, likenesses, and creative works to inspire, educate, and support others through print, digital, and film media.
Participants may be photographed, filmed, or recorded during the retreats. These materials may be featured in future Legacy Project initiatives—including a book and documentary—as part of Hope Grows’ mission to cultivate caregiver wellness through nature and connection.
