Iris High Tea

Fashioned after the ten years of our Hope Grows Victorian Tea fundraising event, our high tea service is new to our offerings and is for everyone! Consider relaxing with friends and family, or alone for some solitude.

Our Iris Respite House chef crafts her menu from fresh ingredients, and herbs and vegetables growing in the garden, all while maintaining favorites representative of an English tea setting. While the menu is seasonal and changes monthly, guests will find their palette well attended. You’ll also enjoy an extensive selection of classic and seasonal teas from Harney & Sons, and an item or two for purchase.

The August menu includes:

• Savories Course – Turkey Tea Sandwich, Boursin Cheese-filled Peppers, and Pastrami & Avocado Tea Sandwich
• Scones Course – Fruit and Nut Scone with Apricot Jam
• Sweets Course – Carrot & Zucchini Cake, Strawberry & Cream Pastry, and Lemon Crinkle Cookie

Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options are possible. Subject to availability and an upcharge.

Seatings are at 11am and 1pm for up to 12 guests per seating. For reservations of 8 or more, a credit card is required to hold the reservation, with cancelation permitted 4 days prior. A gratuity of 20% will be added. A final guest count will also be required 7 days before the reservation.
