June 18 | More Than a Caregiver: Rediscovering Your Identity
When caregiving becomes all-consuming—or suddenly comes to an end—it’s easy to lose sight of who you are beyond that role. This engaging and supportive class, led by Hope Grows graduate intern Claire Thompson, will help you reconnect with your interests, strengths, and aspirations. Through guided reflection and interactive activities, you’ll begin to uncover what’s next—whether that’s exploring new hobbies, volunteer opportunities, or career directions. It’s a chance to focus on you again and take meaningful steps toward a more fulfilling future.
July 16 | Grief & The Mandala: Flowers, the Open Doorway Nature Provides for Loss
Join Lisa Story, Founder and Clinical Director of Hope Grows, as we explore the healing benefits of nature when we are hurting from loss. Using all five senses while creating a Mandala, we’ll connect with flowers and the symbolism of the Mandala to discover the natural rhythm of life and how it relates to the self. This hands-on activity encourages energy flow, promoting a more peaceful and balanced YOU. Connecting with nature is a powerful antidote for restoring focus and rebalancing emotions in times of grief and transition.
