Opening the Window of Caregiver Stress
March 19 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Free
Being a family caregiver is both a deeply rewarding and challenging responsibility. Juggling the needs of a loved one while managing your own can lead to burnout, stress, and emotional strain.
This class will discuss the different types of stress levels and how to recognize your own emotional and physical warning signs of burnout.
Hope Grows Graduate Intern Kim Millen will teach simple stress reduction activities and help caregivers develop a better understanding of how stress is impacting their daily functioning. Participants will create a simple action plan with their own personal stress warning signs and explore various self-care activities to incorporate into their lives so that they may “flourish!”
Wednesday, March 19 | 1:00-3:00pm
