Mixer with Shakers is just nine days away, so if you’re not registered yet, and if you’re wondering about this unique event, we thought we should take a moment to answer some common questions you may have.

Here we go…

Q: “I’ve heard about it, but tell me again…WHEN is it? And WHERE is it?”
A: Mixer with Shakers is next Thursday evening, March 19, 5 – 8 p.m. at our Host Site Sponsor venue, the Sheraton Pittsburgh Airport Hotel.

Q: “WHAT is this Mixer with Shakers event all about, anyway?”
A: The PAACC is in its seventh year of presenting this uniquely fun and festive mixer that features local business leaders serving as guest bartenders to raise money for their favorite charities. It has a longstanding reputation as a mixer that provides a GREAT TIME for a GREAT CAUSE!

Q: “Sounds great, but what will I get out of it?”
A: Aside from fabulous networking with regional business people and non-profit leaders, delicious food and cocktail samplings, lively music, a copious and captivating silent auction, and the exciting Cheers For Charity Cocktail Competition…you will also enjoy the fact that a percentage of the evening’s proceeds benefit the eight participating charity organizations. Additionally, all bartender tips and the Cheers for Charity Cocktail Competition prize money go to charity as well.  Hope Grows Online Tip Jar

Q: “So, how do I sign up?”
A: We’re so glad you asked! Mixer with Shakers is filling up quickly, but you still have time to register!  Use this link to purchase tickets through Hope Grows.

Registration is $50 for PAACC members and $75 for non-members. The price includes admission, food, and a drink card which entitles you to a sampling of each cocktail being served at each guest bartender’s station.

Hopefully the only question left is “What will I wear?” And the answer is: business attire…as festive as you care to make it!
